SEN Teaching Assistant (ASD Support) - Northampton - NN£

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a school in Northampton. This role is perfect for someone who is patient, creative, and committed to making a positive impact on a child's educational journey.- Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 support)
- Location: NN3, Northampton
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Hours: Full-time, term-time only
- Provide tailored support to a pupil with ASD in the classroom and during school activities.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Use strategies to manage behaviour positively and effectively.
- Assist with sensory and emotional regulation when required.
- Previous experience working with children with ASD or other special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
