Job Title: SEN Tutor
Salary:
£25 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
The SEN Tutor will provide tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to achieve their learning goals. Duties may include creating individualised lesson plans, implementing specialised teaching techniques, and monitoring student progress closely.
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant teaching qualification
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Strong understanding of SEN policies and practises
Education:
A degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
- Proficiency in assessing student progress and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in SEN teaching methods
- Experience working in a school setting
Working Conditions:
The SEN Tutor will work in a classroom or educational setting, providing one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN. The role may involve some travel to different locations within the Oxfordshire area. Working hours will be part-time and may vary based on student needs and scheduling requirements.
