Job Duties:

  • Provide individualised and group tutoring sessions to students in various subjects
  • Assess student's learning needs and develop personalised tutoring plans
  • Monitor student progress and adjust tutoring techniques as needed
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers regarding student progress
  • Prepare and deliver engaging tutoring sessions that promote student learning and understanding

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a tutor or teacher
  • Strong knowledge of the subject(s) being taught
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to tailor tutoring techniques to meet individual student needs

Education:

Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject area

Experience:

Prior experience in tutoring or teaching roles

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency in the subject matter being taught
  • Effective communication and listening skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students in the learning process

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant field
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

The tutor will work in an educational setting, providing tutoring services to students. The working hours will be part-time, and the tutor may need to travel to different locations to conduct tutoring sessions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
