Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities.
- Implement teaching strategies to support students in reaching their educational goals.
- Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the students' education.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience working with students with SEN.
- Knowledge of SEN provisions and best practises.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience with SEN students.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of different learning styles and abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in Special Education Needs (SEN).
- Experience with assessment tools and techniques for SEN students.
Working Conditions:
- Part-time position with flexible hours.
- Work primarily in a school or educational setting.
- May involve travel within the local area to provide tutoring services.
