Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Provide one-to-one support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Develop and implement individualised education plans based on students' needs
- Utilise various teaching methods and resources to support students' learning
- Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding students' progress
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Knowledge of SEN regulations and best practises
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience working as a SEN tutor or in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of different learning styles and strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
- Experience working with students with specific learning difficulties
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, flexible schedule
- Work primarily in a school or educational setting
- May require travel to different locations within Oxfordshire
