Senior Enhanced Nurse Practitioner Haematology

Provide education and support for patients receiving oral and/or parenteral chemotherapy including consent for treatment Use of protocols, specialist knowledge and examination skills to assess patients in follow-up and pre-chemotherapy clinics Authorisation of blood products following successful completion of National Blood Service training course Provide telephone support for haematology cancer patients before, during and after chemotherapy treatment Perform bone marrow biopsies following successful completion of program of training Undertake non-medical prescribing following successful completion of program of training For more information please see Job Description and Person Specification
