The post of N365 Product Development Manager sits in the Digital End User Computing Development & Automation team who are responsible for end user device configuration, testing and management across all of our customers.
The post holder will need to be able to travel between sites.
Main duties of the job- The role is designed to build a combination of subject matter expertise and technical skills to support the development and on-going adoption of services within the NHS National Tenant. Working closely with the head of the department and solutions architects to develop roadmaps to deliver N365 functionality.
- The role is responsible for the software licensing of N365 within the organisation and leads on the digital roadmap collaborating closely with key stakeholders, suppliers, and senior managers both within and outside the NHS.
- The role is responsible for ensuring that operational and transactional Software and N365 tasks are transitioned into the operational support teams across HBL and/or reviewed as to how these can be fully automated for both SAM and N365 services.
- Works as part of a team to develop a strategic roadmap for N365 adoption across the HBL partnership.
- Where changes are required the post holder builds business case and plan of actions in support of proposed activity.
- Responsible for the roadmap within HBL ICT of N365 portfolio, collaborating closely with stakeholders to establish and meet business software needs in a timely and cost-effective way, in a highly agile environment.
- Leads reviews of the organisation’s requirements of the N365 Office and establishing plans to meet these needs.

Knowledge, Training and Experience
Essential criteria- Relevant degree or equivalent or significant experience of work in specialist area.
- Experience of coordinating projects in complex and challenging environments.
- Experience of managing risks and reporting
- Experience of drafting briefing papers and correspondence at SMT level
- Experience of monitoring budgets and business planning processes
- Understanding of the public sector
- Experience in a Healthcare environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of project principles, techniques and tools
Communication Skills
