We're looking for a temporary SharePoint Specialist to support a key internal project focused on the assessment, restructuring, and optimization of our SharePoint Online environment. You'll be responsible for conducting a thorough assessment of our current SharePoint Online sites and leading the design of an improved site architecture — with a particular focus on security, permissions models, and user experience.This is a hands-on role, requiring both technical administration and strategic design thinking.
Role responsibilities: h3>- Assess the current structure, usage, and governance of SharePoint Online sites.
- Identify issues, inefficiencies, and risks — especially around permissions and security.
- Redesign site architecture and permissions models for improved scalability and usability.
- Lead or support site migrations, consolidations, and restructures as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align SharePoint structure with business needs.
- Provide recommendations and a roadmap for long-term SharePoint governance and best practices. ul>
- Proven experience with Microsoft SharePoint Online architecture, design, and administration.
- Deep understanding of permissions/ security models in SharePoint.
- Experience with site migration, site consolidation, and content optimization.
- Ability to bridge the gap between SharePoint admin troubleshooting and site design — not just fix issues, but rethink and rework the platform for future use.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, consultative mindset. ul>
