Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant with a solid background in construction finance? Ready to roll up your sleeves and make an impact in a fast-growing organisation? This is your chance to join a dynamic team in Darlington and play a key role in keeping the financial gears turning smoothly.
What we're looking for:We need someone who's not just good with numbers, but understands the construction industry inside out, including:
- CIS Payments
- Reverse Charges
- VAT Compliance
You'll be chasing suppliers, allocating payments, and supporting the wider finance function with your all-round accounts expertise. If you're AAT Level 3 qualified (or working towards it), even better!️ Your day-to-day will include:
- Managing supplier queries and chasing outstanding items
- Allocating payments accurately and efficiently
- Handling CIS deductions and submissions
- Navigating reverse-charge VAT with confidence
- Supporting the finance team with reconciliations and reporting
