Job Description:
In this role you will be responsible for the manufacture of electrical components for both off and on-car systems and to support the operation of the electrical systems at selected trackside events.
What you will be doing:
- Manufacture of harnesses to support test sensor installation.
- Electrical termination of sensors and assemblies.
- Manufacture of low volume prototype analogue and digital electronic circuits.
- Assist with the electrical car-build, ensuring all installation documentation is followed.
- Support the operation of the electrical systems at selected trackside events.
- Assist in the management of electronic component allocation across the business, respecting their life limits.
- Educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline.
- Experience of working at top level motorsport with a proven ability to create wiring systems using Raychem products and motorsport connectors.
- IPC-A-610 and IPC-620 (Class 3) certification would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with calibration processes and associated test equipment.
- Ability to plan and manage own workloads.
- Clear and concise communication, verbally and with the use of email.
- Is self-motivated, innovative and capable of working generally unsupervised to challenging deadlines.
- Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office, Word, Excel.
