Tasks- Assess and evaluate children's physical, emotional, and developmental needs.
- Develop individualized therapy plans to enhance children's daily living skills.
- Work closely with parents and teachers to implement therapeutic activities.
- Monitor and document progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest pediatric occupational therapy techniques and tools.
- Participate in developing joint working initiatives within our multidisciplinary team.
- Develop your specialization in Ayres Sensory Integration practices.
- Assess and support children with their equipment needs and access to communication devices.
- Work with and provide training to schools and external agencies (e.g., caregivers).
- Help develop the range of services offered to children and young people and contribute to the fantastic reputation of the practice.
- Degree-level qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Valid and current HCPC registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the UK
- At least 2 years of experience working with children in a clinical setting
- Strong understanding of child development and sensory integration
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with children, families, and team members
