We are excited to announce a new opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join our exceptional Finance team at ourPoole site!
Not only will you be joining us to support the site in the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial reporting of businessperformance, but you will also support the operations team, building proactive and effective business partnering relationships.

Your Duties Will Include:
- Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of the business performance both internally and to Central Finance. Exceptions are
- To support the month end process, ensure process is robust and efficient with a clear understanding of all variances and
- Supporting the generation of the operational elements of the rolling forecast/budget, results are reviewed/challenged
- Support the Year end Stock count audit, inclusive of engineering stocks
- Attend NPD / Feasibility meetings to understand potential new business
- Review costing proposals with the Central costing team on proposed (EPD/NPD) products
- Ensure that the business systems are operating and being used effectively & efficiently, and the integrity of the information
- To co-ordinate and communicate with group functions and external parties as required
- Support the Finance manager in the day-to-day management of the Finance Team
Your Skills and Experience:
- Experienced in risk analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Excellent numerical skills with a good understanding of all elements of the P&L
- Ability to analyse and communicate financial information to non-financial personnel, providing recommendations and guidance
- Competent in computer literacy including Excel & Power Point
- Highly numerical/analytical and strong problem solving skills
- A continuous improvement mindset with drive to continually improve processes
- Determined & resilient
- Concern for results & quality of output
- Thoroughness & accuracy
- FMCG background – ability to work within a fast-paced changeable environment
- Confidence, initiative & flexibility
- High in integrity with ability to gain the trust of colleagues
- Ability to get on with people at all levels internally & externally
