We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CSW - Senior Social Worker/Specialist Social Worker - Safeguarding & Care Planning to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is essential in advocating for and safeguarding the well-being of vulnerable individuals, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
As a senior social worker, you will lead initiatives in safeguarding, risk assessment, and care planning, collaborating closely with various stakeholders including families, healthcare professionals, and community organizations. Your expertise will guide the development of tailored care strategies that promote positive outcomes for children and adults alike.

Responsibilities
Lead safeguarding assessments and develop comprehensive care plans.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective service delivery and support for individuals.
Mentor and supervise junior social workers, providing guidance and support on complex cases.
Conduct investigations in cases of suspected abuse or neglect, maintaining thorough documentation and compliance with legal standards.
Engage with clients and families to assess needs and formulate appropriate intervention strategies.
Deliver training and workshops on safeguarding practices to enhance team knowledge and skills.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, adjusting as necessary to meet the evolving needs of clients.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Social Work (or equivalent qualification); a Master's degree is preferred.
Current registration with the appropriate social work regulatory body.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in social work, with a focus on safeguarding and care planning.
Proven experience in risk assessment and management within a safeguarding context.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social work and safeguarding.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals and families.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, managing caseloads effectively.

Hours Per Week: 37.00

Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Annum: £28.69

Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
