Technical Assistant Support Worker

The ideal candidate will work Monday Friday and will receive comprehensive training. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, patient focussed Maternity and Neonatal team. What you will do: Ensuring that all equipment is always fully functional and ready for use including performing regular equipment checks.
Maintain equipment registers and work closely with the Clinical Engineering Department to ensure equipment issues are reported. Ensure medical equipment and consumable stock levels are maintained and assist with distribution of stores. Transporting medical equipment and devices from storerooms to clinical areas.
Work alongside the clinical engineering team to ensure medical equipment is maintained and serviced appropriately. What we are looking for: NVQ Level 3 in Health or Social Care or equivalent experience Experience in an acute hospital setting is desirable.
Background in healthcare, education, or customer-facing roles Understanding of acute hospital environment Strong IT and record keeping skills Ability to work as part of a team with interpersonal and time management skills. Be able to work in a fast-paced ward environments.
