OutThere are working with a Home Development Company, to help them find a new member or their Planning Team based in Eastleigh. Our client is fast growing and can therefore offer an immediate start as a Planning Assistant/Planner/Senior Planner!

Key responsibilities: > Monitor national and local planning updates, including Local Plan progress and housing land supply positions

> Monitor local planning applications and latest appeal decisions
> Contribute towards the internal planning strategy, including undertaking relevant research
> Assist with coordinating the submission of planning applications and site promotion
> Assist with the review of schemes from a design, technical and sales perspective with relevant internal departments.
> Instruct, oversee and liaise with consultants, including the collation and review of
relevant plans/documents
> Attend site visits and meetings with internal and external team members/stakeholders
> Develop and maintain good relations and networks with consultants, local authorities, landowners and other stakeholders
> Assist with reporting planning progress/updates internally
> Assist with maintaining internal filing to ensure up-to-date planning records
> Awareness of internal procedures, objectives, deadlines and budgets

> Raising payment requests and purchase orders

Experience/Qualifications: > Degree qualification in planning is preferred, but not essential

> RTPI qualification is preferred, but not essential
> Experience within a developer/housebuilder/planning consultancy/local government

> Full driving licence and access to own vehicle
