Key job responsibilitiesThis role is PMO Program Manager.
Launch programmes, monitor performance metrics, and report on the status ofkey objectives that affect deliverables
Use data to understand operational challenges and create continuous
improvement initiatives
Work with a variety of other Amazon departments to identify and leverage best
practices
Within a programme environment, lead a multidisciplinary team in overcoming
challenges and drive progress
Manage stakeholders and internal processes, and define standards
A day in the lifeA PMO (Project Management Office) program manager typically has the following
day-to-day responsibilities: Establishing and maintaining PMO processes, templates, and tools to ensure
consistent project deliveryProviding guidance and support to project managers on project management best
practices
Monitoring the status of active projects, identifying and mitigating
risksissues
Collaborating with functional leaders to ensure projects deliver the intended
business value
Communicating project portfolio progress and performance to executive
stakeholders
Maintaining the project management information system and supporting
documentation
Identifying and implementing PMO process enhancements to drive greater
efficiency
Developing and monitoring PMO budgets and resource plans
Fostering a project management community of practice within the organization
The overarching goal is to establish standardized project management
practices, provide expert guidance, and optimize the delivery of strategic
initiatives across the organization. The PMO program manager acts as a central
hub to enable consistent, high-quality project execution.

### BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- A degree
- Relevant experience leading cross-functional programmes or projects using
- Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence
- Relevant experience leading complex projects with a wide range of
- Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) andor
SQL in a professional environment

- Advanced or master’s degree
- Project-management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar
- Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or
- Experience working in an operational environment or with technical teams
