Location: Middlewich, CW10Pay Rate: £11.60 - £12.00 per hour (Paid Weekly)
Shifts: Immediate Start | Days, Nights & Sleep-in Shifts Available

Social Care & Education is looking for experienced and dedicated Support Workers to provide essential care and support to adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviour in a supported living environment. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on people’s lives while ensuring they receive the highest standard of person-centred care.
Your Responsibilities as a Support WorkerAs a Support Worker, you will play a key role in improving the quality of life for individuals with complex needs by offering them the support and guidance they require to live as independently as possible. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting service users with their daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Administering medication independently and ensuring all records are accurately maintained.
- Encouraging and promoting independence while maintaining dignity and respect.
- Engaging service users in activities and community outings to enhance their social skills and well-being.
- Managing challenging behaviours using CPI techniques where required.
- Accurately documenting and updating care plans, ensuring compliance with all health and safety policies.
- Working independently when required, demonstrating confidence and reliability.
What We’re Looking for in a Candidate
To be successful in this role, you must have the skills and experience to work in a challenging but highly rewarding environment. Essential requirements include:- A minimum of 3 months UK experience working in a supported living setting.
- Experience supporting adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviour.
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities during lone working shifts.
- Confidence in administering medication independently following the correct procedures.
- Valid CPI training certificate (Crisis Prevention Intervention) and experience handling challenging behaviours.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to keep accurate records and documentation.
- An Enhanced DBS check (preferably registered on the update service).
- Right to work in the UK – we are unable to offer sponsorship.
