As our SENCO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the inclusive culture of our school and enhancing the educational experience for all our children.

The successful applicant will:

  • Be passionate about supporting our most vulnerable children
  • Be innovative and reflective
  • Have the emotional resilience needed to work with young people who have a range of complex needs
  • Have the inter-personal skills needed to foster positive relationships with children, colleagues, parents and other agencies
  • Possess excellent teaching and classroom management skills
  • Have a good understanding of the National Curriculum expectations together with a secure knowledge of how to differentiate this for learning needs of all children
  • Have an energetic, enthusiastic approach to their role in a school, displaying high energy levels to provide creative and dynamic lessons and are committed to evidence-based practice which values the development of children’s independence
  • Hold high expectations of themselves and others
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic and driven team
