An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Finance team of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

We are looking to appoint a Senior Management Accountant to support the Medicine and Integrated Care clinical division, providing financial and management accounting services. This is a key role providing financial input, advice and support, ensuring the delivery of month end reporting including forecasting, through completion of analytical review processes and liaising with budget holders.

The role will also support business planning and Cost Improvement Plan analysis and costing.

This role offers the right candidate the opportunity to thrive and develop within a supportive finance team, as well as contribute to improving the efficiency and offering of the Finance team function to the organisation.

Senior Management Accountant will work in either a corporate division or clinical division.

To provide a high quality analytical service to the Business Partnering Team to support the delivery of an appropriate Financial Risk Rating as determined by the Financial Compliance Framework.

To provide assurance to the Senior Finance Manager of the quality of historic and forecast financial information through completion of analytical review processes.

To be accountable to the Finance Manager for the adherence to Trust financial policies and procedures, statutory requirements and requirements from Department of Health, Monitor and the Trust Development Agency.

The post holder must be studying toward a CCAB or equivalent qualification, and be fully committed to Continuous Professional Development.
