Regional Administration Supervisor

Location: Hybrid. Travel across the South West and South Central region. Office days in your closest prison site
Salary: £36,595.10 per annum

Contract: Permanent. Full time, 39 hours per week

We are seeking a confident and experienced Administration Supervisor to support our Regional Account Director, leading a team of Administrators who are spread across the South West and South Central in 16 prison sites.

Join a team that is more than just a group of colleagues - we work Monday to Friday as a supportive and driven family, working together to create a safe and nurturing environment.

Prisons run like self-contained cities, it takes hundreds of people to keep them functioning, and as the Facilities Maintenance Team we are committed and driving the smooth and safe operation, like a heart that pumps blood through the body; everything we do impacts every prisoner, employee, and visitor, and wider to the families and community.

Your work will support site teams of experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and others, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.

Your direct peers will be Site Managers and site-based Administration Officers, and you will report in to the Regional Account Director.

If you are looking for a role where you can use your skills to create a better future for others, we encourage you to apply for this compelling opportunity and join us in our mission to promote rehabilitation and positive change and be part of a team that truly makes a difference.

We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Regional Administration Supervisor with:

  • Supervisor experience to lead and support site-based Administration Officers, ensuring effective operations and compliance.
  • Coordinate meetings, monitor operational metrics, and provide training on systems like CAFM, Oracle, and others.
  • Confidence to conduct data audits, manage records, and maintain data compliance across multiple sites.
  • Proficiency to act as the point of escalation for administrative and IT issues, and provide remote and on-site support as needed.
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate with Site Managers and other internal departments to foster a strong, unified team.
  • Experience in administration management, preferably within a facilities management environment.
  • Strong IT skills and experience with systems like CAFM, Track Record, Oracle, Eco-online, Planet FM, and Cemar.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel across multiple sites.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office software
