We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our consultancy team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Solid Works and Product Data Management (PDM) systems, and will be keen to apply their skills in a consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Support the design and development of mechanical systems and components using Solid Works. Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and specifications.
• PDM Management: Utilize PDM systems to manage design data, control revisions, and ensure accurate documentation and retrieval of project information.
• Consultancy Support: Collaborate with clients to understand their engineering needs and provide technical expertise. Assist in the preparation of technical reports.
• Analysis and Testing: Conduct mechanical analysis and simulations to validate designs. Perform and document tests to ensure compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
• Project Assistance: Provide engineering support across multiple projects. Assist senior engineers in project planning, coordination, and execution.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues related to mechanical designs and systems. Propose and implement improvements to enhance functionality and efficiency.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, including design reports, user manuals, and project files.
• Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver integrated solutions. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications are advantageous.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Solid Works for 3D modelling and design.
• Experience with PDM systems for managing design data.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
