Lead Nurse for Education

Main Duties and Responsibilities Education and Training Ensure the effective delivery of the NHS Education Contract for CPD with NHSEI for nursing and midwifery. Meet required education regulatory, compliance and Trust standards. Responsible for the provision, delivery, evaluation and quality assurance of a portfolio of high-quality education and training, including the clinical non-registered workforce.
Provide expert educational delivery and professional knowledge, of complex educational funding and programmes/pathways of care. Work closely with the Chief Nurse and Deputy Chief Nurse on planned changes to nursing, midwifery and AHP education including new roles, training required, funding arrangements, regulatory requirements and the implications for service delivery, including recruitment and retention of the workforce.
Strategy and Planning To be the Trust named Lead for Kings Academy working closely with the Deputy ChiefNurse, ADoN for Resus, Simulation & Armed Forces and external partners. To analyse and interpret highly complex information and demonstrate a high level ofattention to detail by providing comprehensive reports for the Board of Directors andsub committees, Divisions and Corporate Teams that give clear information andguidance, and ensure adequate probity of the Trust in relation to Education.
