Upon successful completion of the course, you will gain a BSc Honours in Diagnostic Radiography and be eligible for professional registration with the HCPC. This fully funded programme allows you to study and earn a wage at the same time, with extensive workplace learning and practice, supported by academic learning at the University and through distance learning, and self-study.
Successful applicants must meet the academic entry requirements of the University of Exeter for this course which can be found on the University website. As part of our team you will undertake a wide range of imaging work including A&E, General Radiography, Orthopaedic out-patients, Theatre and Portables, with opportunities to rotate through Fluoroscopy, Bone Density (DXA) Scanning, Cross-sectional imaging and our Community sites.
Offering a Trust-wide preceptorship period for any newly qualified staff, our department provides an ideal opportunity to develop your skills within a friendly, supportive environment. Working Pattern: 37.5 hours a week. 80% on the job with 20% off the job. You will be expected to work long days, weekends and nights.
Interview Date: Monday 21st October 2024 Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2024-5 rates, inclusive of a 5.5% pay award implemented from October 2024. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 2024 or your start date, whichever is later.
