Site Supervisor – Mechanical role:
- This role involves supervising and controlling all mechanical site activities, ensuring efficient, safe, high-quality installations that meet specifications, contractual deadlines, and include complete Installation Test Records (ITRs), while reporting directly to the M & E Manager/Lead Site Supervisor.
Site Supervisor – Mechanical responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Site Manager to ensure a safe working environment for all.
- Verify and maintain the accuracy and currency of all relevant HS&E documentation.
- Fulfil Mechanical Appointed Person duties and maintain QA/QC throughout the installation.
- Ensure all relevant documents accurately describe the work scope and review/comment on Method Statements and Work Instructions as per the Project Execution Plan.
- Oversee work execution in accordance with Method Statements and Work Instructions.
- Record the progress of the works on record drawings or other suitable means when required.
- Record all non-conformance and improvement opportunities and agree action with the person in charge of the works.
Site Supervisor – Mechanical requirements:
- Several years’ experience of working in the Water sector. Understands pipework fabrication, pressure testing, welding and erection. Recognises quality welding. Can punch and snag pipelines in accordance with Isometric, GA and P&ID drawings.
- HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering or good apprenticeship in pipework and welding along with experience
- SSSTS
- CSCS
- First Aider
