Job purpose:

To assist a 34-year-old man who lives in his own house, with the day to day activities enabling myself, as the employer, to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that meets my chosen lifestyle. You will be directly employed by my mother as I can sometime struggle with paperwork and responsibility.

Hours and rate of pay

5 hours per week at £12.00 per hour (Please complete preferred times) Monday - Friday. There could also be flexibility on the days.

Work Duties may include:

Helping with

Hygienic clean, changing bedding and some laundry

Support with household paperwork, correspondence and housing bids

Supporting

Support with household recycling

Support with day planning

Social support inc clothes shopping, visiting friends, going for food or visiting the bank

With social support within the home.

Going to the gym. Undertaking activities for employer

Ensuring employers home is hygienic and safe

Other requirements

Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns

Assisting with management of employers health risks

Establish and maintain effective communication

Maintaining confidentiality.

Non-smoker.

Location

Within the employers home in Bradley stoke area of Bristol.

Requirements for applicant

Experience of providing personal care

Driver required, with access to motor vehicle

Good sense of humor

Patience

Ability to understand and deliver the needs of the employer

Ability to undertake domestic activities

Flexible, reliable and honest

Good general fitness

An enhanced DBS check will be required
