Support Worker Nightshift Only
SUPPORT WORKER - Bristol / Bath Area (Nightshift only)
We are recruiting for a brand-new position, for a night-shift Support Worker working with a child in the Saltford area near Bath.
The client is an eight-year-old bright and bubbly boy with cerebral palsy, who lives at home. He loves playtime so engaging and having fun before bed and in the mornings is a big part of this role. He really enjoys books, playing games and using his communication device.He is a fulltime wheelchair user. Support is provided in the client’s home.
We are seeking to recruit a dedicated and compassionate night support worker who is passionate about their job, enjoys delivering exceptional care and would relish working with a young child. Work would be alongside his family and involve building positive relationships with not only our client but also his family including his older brother and their family dogs.
Previous experience and full driving licence are essential.An NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in care and competent IT skills are desirable.
Applicants must be over the age of 21 years for insurance purposes.
3 - 4 nights a week between 7:30pm and 7:30amNights: £16.00 per hour
Bank holidays: Time and a half
This position requires a fully enhanced disclosure request from the DBS.You will also be required to register with the DBS Update Service.
You will be employed directly by the client, however, SSCM oversees all aspects of the client’s care package on his behalf.
