This post offers an opportunity to an individual to work within an administrative environment within the Medical Records Department in Dewi Sant Hospital.
The post will involve the retrieval of case notes from around the hospital. Sending case notes back to our off site storage unit and decanting cages of case notes when the deliveries arrive from the Hub. Booking appointments on WPAS. You will be required to use the Welsh PAS system.The successful candidate will be liaising with staff from all parts of the Health Board and at all levels. On the job training will be undertaken and the successful candidate must be numerate and literate and able to work under pressure. The hours of the post will be over 5 days Monday - Friday.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be joining a well established team providing a full clerical and reception service in for Outpatient Clinics being undertaken in Dewi Sant Hospital.
Retrieval of case notes from around the hospital.Dealing with digitised records.
Requesting case notes from other hospital and the Hub.
The successful candidate must possess good communication and keyboard skills.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
