Andover - 17th Century Estate – Major Refurbishment - £90 Million

Salary £75,000 + Car Allowance £5000 + 23 Days Holiday + Pension
Blaymires Recruitment is representing a highly respected contractor who is searching for a motivated Project Manager to work on a major 17th Century estate refurbishment, located near Andover with a total project cost of £90 Million.
The chosen Project Manager will have a rare opportunity to manage the refurbishment of the 250 year old Manor House, consisting of a new nightclub, traditional pub, cinema and wellness centre with a project value of £12 Million.
The Role of the Project Manager
You will have full control and will be responsible for delivering the project against agreed dates and within budget.
You will have responsibility for overall performance of the project across all disciplines in order to meet or exceed the contractual obligations, anticipated profit margins and other project KPI’s.
You will report to the Director and Senior Management and in turn will manage the site team.
You will be client facing and will need excellent communication skills as well as the ability to plan, programme and lead the project.
In addition to extensive construction knowledge and project experience, your core skills must be in the effective management of people, delivery of strategic project objectives, forward planning, extensive and effective programming and project reporting.
Candidate requirements of the Project Manager
• Must have Tier 1 Main Contracting or Luxury Residential experience.
• Have experience in managing projects in excess of £5 Million.
• Able to deliver exceptional quality.
• Professional and client facing.
• Experience of high quality new build and refurbishment.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
• Stable career history with a reputable contractor.
