We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Senior Quality Assurance Officer, Band 6 at Pharmacy Technical Services within the Quality team based at Royal London Hospital Pharmacy and Pathology Building (but will be required to travel to all sites within Barts Health NHS Trust).

The aim of this post is to provide patients with outstanding services from the Pharmacy Technical Services MS licenced units ASU (Aseptic Services Unit), Chemoteraphy Services Unit (CSU), Packagin Services Unit (PSU) and Quality support to Radiopharmacy and Nuclear medicine unit (RPU).

The post holder will provide professional and technical supervision to the GMP manufacturing units, working with other department in these units to ensure all activities comply with current clinical, GMP, GCP and Quality guidelines

The post holder will work within the Quality Assurance team, focusing (but not limited to) on elements of the QMS (including the documentation system), as well as Micro and QC support such as environmental monitoring, laboratory practices and testing, and releasing of products manufactured under the MS licence, whenever required.

The post holder will be given training to become competent and will undertake developmental activities to enable them to gain skills, knowledge, and experience in a wide variety of Quality, Aseptic and Clinical Pharmacy activities.
