The team are here help to develop individuals (clinical staff, managers and

support staff) to understand the information they are presented with so that they can use it for decision making and service changes. The focus for the department is on ensuring information is understood and utilised, as
opposed to produced and distributed.
The Specialist Analyst will be responsible for producing, analysing, interpreting and delivering high quality, consistent and timely data to
operational management and other staff within the organisation and outside of the organisation. This will include the development and maintenance of dashboards/reporting using Tableau; providing expertise, support and advice on information analysis to managers and clinicians at all levels.
  • To be responsible for the continued development and support the
Trust’s management information system (Tableau) to ensure that this
is aligned to the business requirements of the Trust and all appropriate reports/dashboards are developed to agreed specifications within the given timescales.
  • Lead on providing a complete end to end service for development of
Tableau reports. This will include acting in a consultancy manner with
staff within the Trust to establish clear requirements through to
development, testing, implementation and maintenance.
  • Provide specialist advice to staff on Tableau, data analysis, reporting,
statistical analysis and data warehousing.
  • To ensure all development outputs are well designed, thoughtfully
compiled and add value.
  • To lead on the implementation of the data quality tools into their area
of the business, ensuring that the right staff have access to the right
tool (and skills) in order to monitor and comply with data quality
standards.
  • Keep up to date with the latest technologies, methodologies and drive
consistent standards.
  • You will be expected to work on your own initiative but also to

collaborate with colleagues and other parties where necessary.
