Robert Half are looking for an assistant accountant for a company in the investment property space. The business has seen phenomenal success in recent years and boasts a well-established finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse the performance of assets tracking the actuals versus budgeted results.
- Generate reports and dashboards for presentation to the management teams.
- Supporting the purchase ledger function
- Supporting Treasury function
- Bank reconciliations
- Intercompany reconciliations
- VAT returns
- Support with yearend audit process
- Assist with month end routine
- Supporting the development of internal systems and processes
Experience & Qualifications:
- AAT qualified and/or studying towards a professional qualification
- Good grounding in finance and financial accounting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
Indicative renumeration:
- Base starting salary: up to £28k per annum (DOE)
- Hybrid - 3 days in the office
