About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic EYFS Specialist Teacher to work within a welcoming and supportive primary school. This position will start as soon as possible and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year, with the opportunity for the successful candidate to transition to a direct contract with the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Plan and implement engaging lessons that foster a love for learning and meet the needs of all pupils.
- Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring effective use of EYFS assessment frameworks.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support children's development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in EYFS teaching.
- A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
