We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join this dynamic School . As a Primary School Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the educational and personal development of young learners, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for students to thrive in.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to work with children across Year 1 and deliver high-quality lessons that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.This will begin in March 2025.

Duties as a Primary School Teacher:

  • Deliver Outstanding Lessons: Plan and teach engaging lessons that cater to the varying needs and abilities of students.
  • Create an Inclusive Learning Environment: Ensure that every child is supported in their learning journey and make adaptations for students with additional needs.
  • Assess & Track Student Progress: Regularly assess students' progress, providing timely feedback and setting targets for further development.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, calm, and respectful classroom atmosphere, promoting good behavior and encouraging students to take responsibility for their learning.
  • Foster Student Development: Promote the social, emotional, and academic growth of every student in your class, building their confidence and independence.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other teachers and staff to plan curriculum delivery, share best practices, and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
  • Communicate with Parents: Maintain regular communication with parents about student progress, welfare, and achievements.

Requirements of a Primary School Teacher:

  • Educational Requirements: A degree in Education or a related subject, and a recognised teaching qualification (QTS).
  • Experience: Experience teaching primary-aged children is preferred but not essential for newly qualified teachers with the right enthusiasm and commitment.
  • Subject Knowledge: A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and how to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons.
  • Passion for Teaching: A genuine passion for inspiring and supporting children in their learning journey.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong time-management and planning abilities, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • DBS Check: A current DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) is required.
