An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Band 6 Orthopaedic Practitioner with BOA Casting Certificate and with excellent communication skills to work as part of the Royal London Hospital’s Fracture Clinic team for paediatric services.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated and committed to give high quality care and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team. You will consistently ensure that patient's privacy, dignity and psychological well-being is maintained as well as providing patient centred care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing individual patient care needs and developing, implementing and evaluating plans of care in accordance with agreed policies and professional guidelines by providing a plastering service for the paediatric orthopaedic clinic, supporting theatres, inpatient areas and other areas within fracture clinic.
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of casting and splinting service provision across our paediatric orthopaedic services. The post holder will work as an integral member of the orthopaedic team with dedication to our paediatric population.The post holder will work within a designated clinical space, but will might need to support other clinical areas if required.

Please note: When calculating the basic salary for sponsorship, HCAS (High Cost Area Supplement) is not included for non-medical roles. This ensures fairness and consistency within our organisation, as some of our sites fall under inner HCAS, while others are classified as outer HCAS.
