English Teacher - Potters Bar
This role begins March 2025.
Duties as an English Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in English Language and Literature
- Inspire and support students to develop strong literacy skills and a passion for reading and writing
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their potential
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued
- Contribute to curriculum planning and the development of English learning resources
Ideal English Teacher:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching English at [Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4, possibly Key Stage 5]
- Are passionate about English and committed to making lessons engaging and accessible
- Have excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students as an English Teacher.
- Are committed to ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues
