We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Retail IT Systems Manager to join our team at the Head Office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing retail systems, possess excellent technical and troubleshooting skills, and be able to work effectively under pressure.

With a keen eye for detail and strong organizational abilities, the successful applicant will ensure our retail network operates smoothly and efficiently.

Position: Retail IT System Manager
Location: Tottenham (N17), will be required to carry out store visits on a regular basis
Contract: Full time, Permanent
No. of vacancies: 1
Salary: £30,000 - 35,000 per annum, depending on experience

About the Role

As Retail IT Systems Manager, you are responsible to maintain our retail system including hardware, PC’s, tills , scanners, printers and other equipment for the retail network; perform technical and administrative tasks to ensure our retail system is working efficiently and correctly.

You will also work closely with the Senior Management team to ensure the system is secure and up to date.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Provide technical support to all staff
  • Perform troubleshooting and hands on maintenance of retail equipment
  • Monitor and update the IT asset register for hardware, software, and devices
  • Liaise with external ERP system suppliers to maintain and improve system
  • Format, plan and deliver training on the use of systems and networks
  • Monitor warranties on all hardware and software licenses
  • Work with other departments to develop and maintain E-commerce system
  • Execute different maintenance activities when needed
  • Perform other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned by Senior Management

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as retail system manager or similar role
  • Experience in retail sector preferred
  • Solid knowledge of retail IT systems and applications
  • Critical thinkers and problem-solvers with great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing retail IT issues
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills and able to prioritise tasks
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and work under pressure
  • Be able to work independently and with integrity
  • Be commercially minded to serve the needs of the business
  • A good understanding of ERP systems is desirable
  • Must have the right to work in the UK (without sponsorship)
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
