We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Site Financial Controller to join their team, based in the Warrington area. This is a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health of the site, providing strategic insights, and supporting operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial operations and reporting for the Warrington site, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with corporate and statutory requirements.Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business objectives.Conduct variance analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and support decision-making.Monitor cash flow, manage capital expenditure, and optimize working capital.Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Act as the primary liaison with external auditors and other regulatory bodies.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications:
Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
Experience:
Proven experience in a similar financial leadership role, ideally within manufacturing, logistics, or a related industry.Strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.Experience in managing and developing teams.
Skills:
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
