We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and creative Teaching Assistant to join one of our inclusive Primary Academies based in the Pudsey area of Leeds. The school are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil across the KS2 curriculum with immediate start, although applications are welcomed from candidates seeking flexible or part-time opportunities in this role.
You become part of a committed and diverse staff team, promoting high engagement, effective progression and positive professional relationships with pupils, staff and families. Ofsted rated 'Good', the Primary School is proud to offer a supportive learning environment where staff and pupils feel valued and recognised for their achievements.
You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role dependent on experience.
Your role as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant:- Support the Teacher to engage students in learning & build confidence.
- Adapt to the diverse 1:1 needs of students within your care.
- Maintain strong classroom management & promote high standards for learning.
- Support students to positively progress, through suitable intervention.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a positive and child-centred staff team.
- Carry out 1:1 and small group interventions as directed by the Class Teacher
- A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
