Graduate Cover Supervisor/Supply Teacher
Are you a recent graduate looking to gain classroom experience? We are recruiting Graduate Cover Supervisors to join secondary schools in Andover from November 2024. Schools are in need of additional support staff, offering a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the education sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and deliver pre-prepared lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Ensure students are engaged and actively participating in the lesson
- Maintain classroom management and enforce school behaviour policies
- Support students of different abilities, ensuring the smooth running of the class
- Develop your classroom management and leadership skills
Position Details:
- Full-time and part-time roles available, depending on your availability
- Suitable for graduates, unqualified teachers, and experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs)
- Gain valuable experience for a future career in teaching or education
What We Are Looking For:
- Graduates with a passion for education and working with young people
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain behaviour in the classroom
- No prior teaching experience necessary—training and support will be provided
