Position Type: Full time, Permanent

Hours: 37.5

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:30 -16:30 (Flexible)

Breaks: 30 minutes

We are looking for a dedicated individual to support the NPD (New Product Development) Team in the day-to-day tasks of making, presenting, and launching new products in the nut manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will work closely with the team to ensure the creation of high-quality, innovative nut-based products, from concept to market.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and package samples in the kitchen under the guidance of NPD Managers.
  • Maintain a fully stocked NPD kitchen to support the team, ensuring all products meet quality, safety, and legal standards.
  • Organise and conduct daily, weekly, and monthly gas testing, organoleptic assessments, and incubator tests, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed.
  • Assist in coordinating and facilitating customer visits.
  • Support NPD Managers in factory product launches and trials.
  • Perform general office duties, including filing, minute-taking, handling telephone messages, creating labels, and using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other NPD-related software.
  • Arrange courier collections online.
  • Utilise the ‘QAD’ system for stock and internal planning (training provided).
  • Maintain accurate records of sample submissions.
