SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team at Teaching Personnel to support children with SEN in a mainstream classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1:1 support to children with SEN, both in and outside of the classroom.
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored learning activities.
- Support small group interventions, ensuring each child's individual needs are met.
- Assist with the preparation of learning resources and classroom organisation.
- Help to implement behaviour management strategies in line with the school's policy.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and feedback.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably with children with SEN.
- A strong understanding of Special Educational Needs and how to support children with a range of abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to working with children.
- A relevant qualification (e.g. , Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent) is desirable, but not essential.
- A competitive salary, which is paid every Friday in arrears.
- Being able to only work during term times, therefore more time off!
- Development is available for progress towards an unqualified teacher and so on!
- Training is also available with the company, such as Level 2 safeguarding and CPD training.
