The Project Support Officer role is part of the government project delivery profession and UKHSAs project delivery resource model. The role responsibilities are aligned to the Project Delivery Capability Framework(PDCF) career pathway Project Support Officer 2.
Essential criteria- you will be assessed on the below (6) essential criteria, which have been selected from the Job Description Document. Working knowledge in a project or programme environment covering planning, scheduling, resource management, risk and issue management, change control, governance, project methodologies and assurance.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Works well under pressure, effectively manages multiple tasks, in a fast-changing and ambiguous environment, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to challenge effectively to ensure the correct information is presented at the right time.
Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Strong capability in using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. As a hybrid worker, you will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of your contractual working hours (approximately 3 days a week pro rata, (averaged over a month) working at one of UKHSA's core HQs (Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, and London).
Security Clearance Level Requirement Successful candidates must pass a disclosure and barring security check. Successful candidates must meet the security requirements before they can be appointed. The level of security needed is Basic Personnel Security Standard.
