An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised individual to be appointed as the Research Imaging Manager within the growing R&D Office at the Royal Free Hospital.

Main duties of the job
Working closely with the various research delivery, imaging, radiotherapy and medical physics departments across the trust, the post holder will ensure the efficient, timely and responsive coordination of clinical trial activity requiring imaging and/or radiotherapy.
The post-holder will provide coordination support to new research applications requiring imaging and/or radiotherapy. This will include working with the Research Portfolio Manager to ensure that all new applications for feasibility and research capacity reviews are appropriately registered on the R&D databases and documents collated.This will involve working closely with the R&D Coordinator in providing administrative support to the Trial Feasibility Committees (TFCs), document control and data entry.
The Research Imaging Manager will be expected to provide cross-cover to the R&D office team. The post holder will provide advice and guidance to researchers on the application process to R&D, Health Research Authority (HRA) and Research Ethics Committees (RECs).This will include reviewing research amendments, sponsorship requests and project planning.

- Experience of developing IT systems for information dissemination/performance and financial monitoring
- Experience with imaging platforms (PACS/CRIS)
- Specialist knowledge to interpret study protocols, application forms and patients leaflets
