As an HLTA, you will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons, support individual students with their learning needs, and foster a positive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities:- Collaborating with teachers to plan and deliver lessons across various subjects
- Providing individualised support to students with diverse learning needs
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Supervising and leading small group activities and interventions
- Contributing to the development of Individualised Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills
- Relevant qualifications, such as an HLTA certificate or equivalent
- Proven experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar educational role
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- The ability to adapt to individual student needs and learning styles
