- Manage signalling design team (experience required includes but not limited to Locations REBs Scheme Plans relay wires level crossings etc )
- Support delivery of Life Extension and Renewals projects
- Oversee the preparation of technical details specifications and tenders for Signalling projects
- Ensure technical and safety standards are maintained in all aspects of Signalling design work as instructed
- Discharge safety responsibilities in relation to CDM Regulations Health and Safety legislation company procedures and standards
- Perform duties as directed by the Lead Design Manager Head of Design in connection with Signalling Design activities
- Hold a IRSE Design Manager licence (essential)
- Experience in railway Signalling design (essential)
- Prior experience as a Signalling Design CRE (desirable)
- Ability to also manage a small telecoms teams and associated design work being delivered with prior telecoms experience on ST projects (desirable)
