- Carry out design and design production checks on Signalling designs as instructed (experience required includes but not limited to Locations REBs Scheme Plans relay wires level crossings etc )
- Support delivery of Life Extension and Renewals projects
- Assist in the preparation of technical details specifications and tenders for Signalling projects
- Ensure technical and safety standards are maintained in all aspects of Signalling design work as instructed
- Discharge safety responsibilities in relation to CDM Regulations Health and Safety legislation company procedures and standards
- Perform duties as directed from time to time by the Design Manager in connection with Signalling Design activities
- Hold a IRSE Principles Designer (essential)
- Hold a IRSE Verifier license (desirable)
- Experience in railway Signalling design (essential)
