Your Role

Motivated, collaborative and determined, we work in partnership with our customers in Telecoms, Networking and Communication companies to solve their challenges and bring insight, creativity, advice, and strategy on leading technologies and trust us to be able to be hands-on to deliver as well.

We are looking to hire a Vice President based out of our head office (London, Holborn).

The role of a Vice President is a key role encompassing both entrepreneurial business development/personal sales, with hands-on project delivery/management. This role would suit a technically savvy and commercially minded Telco specialist with good overall understanding of the Telco digital landscape inclusive of 5G Mobile Private Networking (MPN) and Smart Tech/IoT experience, who enjoys developing great client relationships and understands how to meet clients’ needs with great consulting solutions.

To do this, we would expect you to have solid experience and contacts in the UK Telco sector, particularly in the 5G MPN and Smart Technology/IoT domains and be passionate about leveraging your network to identify, develop and close opportunities.

Utilise your business and technical knowledge to meet client’s needs. We are especially keen to have colleagues join our team with a solid track record for driving transformation in UK. This is an exciting chance to drive technology change across the industry through helping client organisations navigate the ever-changing landscape.

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Leading strategic client relationships, working at the senior levels to sell value adding consulting assignment
  • Lead and deliver large scale, complex projects – managing project teams (2-10 people) being actively involved and taking ownership of delivery
  • Lead & develop commercially viable consulting market offerings
  • Drive Go-To-Market and other specialist teams to develop propositions, develop existing client accounts and build new accounts
  • Work within mixed consulting and client teams, planning, managing and delivering work

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

  • Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
  • Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

Your Profile

All candidates must be able to demonstrate successful business development skills within the professional services industry selling consulting services, and have led and delivered the following types of assignments:

  • Smart Technology/IoT design and deployment
  • Business case & strategy development across all areas of a telco from customer interactions, operations and networks
  • Creating lean, agile, and market-leading operating models
  • Creating leading edge digital experience for customers and employees
Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, be customer-focused and be willing to travel on business. In the majority of cases, assignments will be in the UK and Europe and candidates must have exposure to this geographical area
  • Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
  • Experience of proposition building and delivery.
  • Business development – utilising a combination of the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, you’ll be generating c.4m of consulting revenues (Vice President).
