We are looking for compassionate and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to join secondary schools across Southampton, working with students who have a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.This is an excellent opportunity for graduates looking to gain practical experience and make a real difference in the lives of young people.
The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting SEN students in both one-on-one and small group settings.
- Assisting teachers in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Implementing personalised learning plans and adapting materials to suit the needs of students.
- Providing pastoral care and emotional support to students with additional needs.
- Collaborating with the SENCO and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for SEN students.
