SALARY: £28,000 pro rata + Benefits
LOCATION: Fosdyke, Lincolnshire, East Midlands (PE12) - 100% office based

WORKING HOURS: 24 hours per week, flexibility can be discussed

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Administrator / Engineering Administration Assistantwith previous office admin experience, excellent Microsoft Office, organisational, communication and time-management skills, and great attention to detail.

Working as the Administrator / Engineering Administration Assistant you will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective administration service and support to the Engineering team on a day-to-day basis through a professional and customer orientated service to both internal and external customers.

As the Administrator / Engineering Administration Assistant you will carry out general administrative tasks, including database input and management, contractor coordination and basic finance duties.

DUTIES

Your duties as an Administrator / Engineering Administration Assistant will include:

  • Engineering Administration - Co-ordinate engineering administration to ensure customer service is maintained and continuously improved. Perform general administrative tasks like shift reports, budget trackers, and filing
  • Systems Support - Manage and improve the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system and ensure accurate data management
  • Contractor Management and Compliance - Liaise with contractors daily to ensure adherence to standards, enabling efficient workflow and supporting permit-to-work processes
  • Financial Administration - Handle engineering purchase orders and track engineering spend against budget
  • Audit and Project Support - Maintain engineering service records for audits and provide administrative support for projects, including compliance
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience of administration / office admin with strong data manipulation and interpretation abilities
  • Proven experience of working effectively in a busy office environment, both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • IT Skills - good Excel skills as well as being proficient in Word and PowerPoint
  • Good understanding of own responsibilities to work safely, identifying any risks and reporting them appropriately
  • Experience of working with databases is desirable
  • GCSE 'C’ or above in English and Maths, or equivalent
