Job Description
Duties for a Interim Assistant Management Accountant:
- Support the preparation of revenue recognition (billing).
- Aid in managing fixed assets and handling capital purchases/leasing.
- Contribute to the preparation of accruals.
- Assist in preparing prepayments.
- Handle intercompany accounting tasks.
- Analyse various overheads.
- Help with entering purchase ledger invoices.
- Assist with sales ledger invoice entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and allocate receipts.
- Reconcile balance sheets.
- Post journal entries.
- Identify and suggest process improvements and system enhancements to boost efficiency.
- This diverse role involves producing financial analysis and collaborating with management, financial accountants, and other business areas.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- A strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in managing large amounts of data.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be immediately available.
- Able to commute to Heathrow.
- Hybrid working available, 3 days in office & 2 from home.
- A collaborative and supportive working environment.
