Job Description

Duties for a Interim Assistant Management Accountant:

  • Support the preparation of revenue recognition (billing).
  • Aid in managing fixed assets and handling capital purchases/leasing.
  • Contribute to the preparation of accruals.
  • Assist in preparing prepayments.
  • Handle intercompany accounting tasks.
  • Analyse various overheads.
  • Help with entering purchase ledger invoices.
  • Assist with sales ledger invoice entries.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and allocate receipts.
  • Reconcile balance sheets.
  • Post journal entries.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements and system enhancements to boost efficiency.
  • This diverse role involves producing financial analysis and collaborating with management, financial accountants, and other business areas.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Assistant Management Accountant should have:

  • A strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in managing large amounts of data.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Be immediately available.
  • Able to commute to Heathrow.
